May 18, 2009 Our first full day in Bozeman, Montana

The inside of our hotel room in Bozeman.

Another view of the inside of our room.

Molly talking to her mom. And a view of our room again.

Molly had to take this picture of me next to Short Street.

Though you can't see the signs clearly, both of these red-topped buildings are pawn shops and they're not affiliated! There are so many of them here!

These little kiosks are set up in parking lots all over the place. We stopped at a little kiosk in a shopping center parking lot that sold sno-kones!

Green tounges from lime sno-kones.

This lime one was absolutely amazing, especially today in this heat.

Molly's first sno-kone ever! She LOVED it!

Samantha NOT looking at the camera, but at traffic; she gets so distracted when there's any substantial human activity to watch and ponder.

We had to stop at a K-Mart, which is completely against our ethics. But there's really nothing else around that sells the items we need to get before we head to Yellowstone. Samantha went to smell the lotion and it splattered all over her face when she opened the container. Ewww.

The infamous K-Mart . We liked how even though K-Marts have managed to spread like a disease across the entire U.S., (much to our dismay) this one has a mountain scenery backdrop!

Samantha is 5 years old when it comes to seeing new things. She points at the mountains that surround us on three sides.

Some kiosks, like this one sell coffee. But today it reached nearly 90 degrees (a rarity in Bozeman) so we didn't need any coffee to warm us up!

More mountains in the distance. It's hard to believe that they can have snow on them when the weather down in the valley where we're staying is so hot right now!

Us posing for a piture with the mountains in the distance. They're smiling too :)

See the "M" for Montana on the side of the Rockies? Cool. I wonder what it's made out of and how big it actually is?

We're surrounded by mountains! Even when you're in the city, walking down an ordinary side street with cars parked everywhere, the mountains always look over us!

I have no idea why this photo is showing up here; it should've been earlier. It's Molly in front of Bagel Works, where we had the yummy yet heart-attack-inducing -cream-cheese-covered bagels.

And me in front of Bagel works. (We both had to have pictures in front of everything!)

Okay, so Molly accidentally bought chewable vitamin C's instead of the easy to swallow ones. (No wonder the container was so huge!) This is a face of disgust :o

Molly at Bagel Works, which to us, was the breakfast equivalent of Dave's Cosmic Subs.

About to enjoy a yummy bagel with LOTS of cream cheese ... as you will see soon.

Umm, this amount of cream cheese is ridiculous, so Samantha laughs (and then scrapes half of it off)!

See the outrageous slathering?!!? We're tring to eat healthy, but this did not contribute!
